This past Summer 2008 we lost our very close and dear friend Mark to a life long illness. Mark was a happy, loving, and one of the most helpful persons we've ever known. He always helped out anyone with anything they needed be it money, work, help with your bow and archery tips.

Mark would help make you a better archer by teaching you how to do things even if you were the person he was competing against! He just wanted to be sure you were the best you could be and was willing to get you there by helping.

Mark was a happy person who we knew when he was around would make us all laugh. The best memories we have of him are of us all laughing out loud at something Stubby would do or say. He loved funny movies and listening to comedians on cd so whenever we would go on trips with him he would always have on a comedy movie or a new cd of a comedian. Needless to say when he was around life was great.

We miss him dearly as you can never replace someone with so much life and love to offer. As we continue on this road without him we know that he is looking down at us, probably laughing at us and thinking of fun times we all spent together. Knowing that we always think of him and laugh about the good times he gave us. Stubby is always with us, in our hearts and in our thoughts and always will be.

Some people make such a powerful impact on your life that will remain with you forever whether you see them daily or haven't seen them in years. They are there in your heart and Mark will always live in ours.

Stubby, we miss you alot amigo but we know we will see you again one day. What a blessing to have been able to spend time with you to share tons of laughs with and we know that when we see you again we'll be laughing again like we used to. Thank you for making life so fun for everyone around you and for all your help.

Mark was a long time archer with many years of shooting and archery titles under his belt. He has won many local, State Championship titles, as well as Southern Sectionals (5 State Championship) in his time as a competition archer. He also gets to spend some quality time in the woods every now and then and has taken some nice bucks as well. Here Mark displays his 134” West Texas Whitetail.
